Jalukie, February 20 (MExN): Troops of 36 Assam Rifles apprehended an NSCN (IM) cadre along with one 7.65 mm pistol with magazine and two live rounds of 7.65 mm during a search operation conducted in Jalukie Town of Peren district on February 19, informed a press release from Assam Rifles. The operation was launched based on specific information regarding movement of armed cadre in general area of Jalukie Town, according to the release. The apprehended cadre identified as Tuithung Achan along with the recovered arms and other items was handed over to Jalukie Police Station for further investigation.
