The Nagaland State Assembly Election have arrived on time like the season bird ‘Cuckoo’ that use to arrive in April month every year. It is no other politics than the end of the previous State Government of Nagaland and welcoming the new Nagaland state Government. There is good News from the press Statement of the Present Nagaland Chief Minister Mr. N Rio and NPF President Dr. Shurhozelie, the two NPF leaders, during the recent NPF party rally, see the Nagaland Post dated February 6th 2013, Quote “…… N Rio repeated that he and his party were willing to pave way in the event of a political solution “be it one day, one week, one month or one year from the day of formation of a new Government”. The same declaration is require from the other political parties in black and white, like the NPF Party. So that, there will be no obstruction in the way to bring the Naga Political Solution. Such a press release is needed when the Nagas are in confusion and thinking of “this on going State Assembly Election might block the way to install the new political settled Government. Now it is clearer in the air of the Naga Politics, when on major political party NPF has declared to “Pave-way for a new Political settled Government” to give settled landing ground.
In this connection, the Govt. of India is very clear on her part that, a notification through the Election Commission of India had been issued. See the Morung Express dated Friday, january 25th 2013, Quote “…. The expenditure sealing of a candidate is fixed at Rs. 8 lakhs…” Hence, there will be no question of “we have spend many lakhs and many crores of rupees during the Election and for which, “no step down?”
Such a protest might be facing the question of disqualification. And so, to face any eventuality all the candidate must understand that, the over expenditure are at their own risk.
All the church leaders, NGOS, Senior citizens (who are this Ex- and that Ex-) shall and will initiate for the Naga National workers unity for the Naga Political solution. The nature and style of the National workers unity is their internal matters. Yet, their join-hands in the talk we shall urge, as the Naga People are fed up with their in-fighting that lowered our Naga politics.
Once again, we appealed that, our national workers may please avoid your Government level interference in this on going state Assembly Election, except in the capacity of your individuals if you find yourself illegible and unavoidable.
This appeal is that, your interference in the Election must not give obstruction in the way of Naga peace and Naga Unity, that might obstruct for the Naga political solution and it might prolong it further.
