The 12th Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) in its ongoing 4th session today passed four government bills, Nagaland State Council of Higher Education Bill, 2014, Nagaland Farmers’ Participation in Management of Irrigation Systems Bill 2013, Nagaland Medical Council Bill, 2014, Nagaland State Paramedical Council Bill, 2014 and Nagaland Board of School Education Amendment Bill, 2014.
The bill for introduction of Nagaland State Council of Higher Education Bill, 2014 and Nagaland Farmers’ Participation in Management of Irrigation Systems Bill 2013, moved by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, was introduced in the House on Friday.
Nagaland Medical Council Bill, 2014 as well as Nagaland State Paramedical Council Bill, 2014 was moved by Minister for health and family welfare, Imkong L. Imchen, while consideration and passing of the Nagaland Board of School Education Amendment Bill, 2014 was moved by Minister for school education C.M Chang.
