Mokokchung, July 8 (MExN): The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, in collaboration with Mokokchung District Administration and Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) conducted an Assessment Camp for senior citizens and persons with disabilities (Divyangjan) under Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana and ADIP Scheme at Community Health Center Changtongya, Mokokchung on July 7. According to a DIPR report on Friday, a total of 96 beneficiaries were assessed and registered during the assessment camp where ADIP (Disabled Person) identified 23 persons and RVY (Senior Citizen) 73 persons. The report stated that SDO (C) Rorheu Peseyie; Dr Imtijungshi, SMO; staff from CHC Changtongya; Caritas India CBR staff; Mokokchung District Disabled Forum; and ALIMCO team led by Suman Kumar (Rehab Expert/Prosthetist & Orthotist) attended at the camp.
