Peren, April 6 (MExN): Assessment camps for Children With Special Needs (CWSNs) were conducted in Ahthibung on March 22, Peren on March 23 and Tening on March 24 by District Mission Office, Samagra Shiksha, Peren (DMO, SS) assisted by Sound Beatz PVT Ltd Delhi, TPORC, Imphal and Medical Department, Peren. Children with hearing impairment, visual impairment and locomotive disorder were screened and assessed. Hearing aids were distributed to the needy during the camp. Other aids and appliances like spectacles and artificial limbs will be provided to the deserving CWSNs later. Altogether 88 CWSNs attended the camps from across the district.
