DIMAPUR, MAY 15 (MExN): The Ao Senso Telongjem Dimapur (ASTD) while condemning the May 13 bomb blast at Dimapur Gas Agency has urged the police to immediately arrest the perpetrators. Terming the act as cowardice, the ASTD in a press release stated that the perpetrators should “come out openly and have dialogue with the concerned proprietor if there is any misunderstanding between them.” While stating that Nagaland state has hardly 20 lakhs of population, the ASTD stated the rate at which the state has projected itself in a negatively way in comparison is not something to be proud of.
“The ASTD appeal to all section of the people of the state to shun violence and resort to peaceful means,” it stated.
It further asserted that under no circumstances the ASTD will allow or tolerate any individual or group “threatening our citizen through guns and bombs.”
