ASU alleges depts, politicians going against  govt order on appointment of grade IV post

DIMAPUR, JULY 31 (MExN): The Angami Students’ Union (ASU) has alleged that several grade IV posts were contested by non-indigenous candidate and rampant appointments were made by certain departments and politicians.

Expressing displeasure, a press statement issued by the ASU president Vizokho Zashiimo and general secretary Petekhrietuo Kiewhuo stated that this goes against the Office Order Memorandum Dated, Kohima the 7th December 2016, No.AR-3/Gen-174/2007 (pt), wherein the government has made a standing order that only indigenous inhabitants would be appointed in the district offices in all districts of Nagaland.

In this regard, the Union has urged upon every government department to strictly adhere to the established norms of appointments and accordingly all the resultant grade IV vacancies be appointed as per the laid down ground rules of the order.
Any deviation or flouting this order would not be accepted or tolerated under any circumstances, it cautioned.
