ASU conference commences at Tuophema

Kohima, April 28 (MExN): A three-day 30th Biennial General Conference of the Angami Students’ Union (ASU) commenced today at Tuophema village under the theme ‘Rational Integrity.’ MLA Dr Tseilhoutuo Rhutso graced the introductory session this evening. Meanwhile, Salhoutuonuo Kruse, Minister for Women Resources Development & Horticulture will grace the inaugural session on April 29 at 9:45 am. Angami Public Organization, President, Razouvotuo Chatsu will share greetings. ASU President Bisevi Nakhro will deliver presidential address. The inaugural session will be chaired by central organizing committee co-convenor Neidilhoutuo Sechii. Debate session on “Is it time to lift the NLTP Act?” will take place on April 29 at 1:30 pm with Dr Visakhonii Hibo, principal Japfii Christian College Kigwema as critic. Dr Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, Advisor School Education & SCERT Nagaland, will grace academic session at 3:30 pm. Neibalie Rio, Special Officer to Chief Minister Nagaland will grace Extravaganza Nite at 6:30 pm.
