KOHIMA, FEBRUARY 7 (MExN): The Angami Students' Union (ASU) on Wednesday served a timeframe of 48 hours to the Department of Power with immediate effect to provide uninterrupted electricity supply throughout the district of Kohima, particularly during the exam period. “It is utterly alarming to witness that the Department of Power has now possibly become the often irritation of the students' community, whereby during the most crucial exams, i.e. HSLC & HSSLC, the students are greeted with erratic power supply,” the ASU ultimatum addressed to the Executive Engineer, Department of Power stated. “We shall be constrained to ensure a conducive electricity supply by resorting to any befitting pursuance if our demand is not met positively,” it added.
