
Kohima, August 13 (MExN): The Angami Students' Union, Kohima College, Kohima (ASUKCK) observed its 42nd Fresher's Day on August 12 at Baptist Higher Secondary School, Kohima auditorium.
Pheluopfhelie Kesiezie, proprietor of North Field Higher Secondary School, Kohima and Keduolhoulie Belho were the special guests at the inaugural and second session respectively.
Pheluopfhelie Kesiezie advised the students to make good use of tech facilities and challenged them to rise against all unwanted factors in the society. Speaking on clean election and corruption, he said since college students occupy the major part of the electoral roll, students can be the change towards a clean election and clean the corrupt system in the society, a press release from ASUKCK general secretary, Rokoselie Nakhro stated.
Keduolhoulie Belho spoke on what teachers and parents expect from their students and children. He also highlighted how students should be.
The function was also attended by Petekhrietuo, Vice President ASU and some of his colleagues and leaders from various tribal bodies of Kohima College.
