ATC silver jubilee celebration culminates

Zunheboto, November 10 (MExN): Anderson Theological College (ATC) Silver Jubilee celebration culminated on November 10.
Earlier on November 9, in the evening session, welcome address was given by Kakuto Chishi, Board of Directors ATC.
The dedication of the Jubilee Souvenir was done by Tohoshe Chishi, first Chairman, Board of Directors ATC. He motivated everyone to keep their utmost faith towards God and motivated the college students to study and work hard to be able to serve the God according to his ways.
Special songs were presented by ATC Jubilee Choir, SBAK general staff and Aghovi Chishi Faculty Alumni, ATC.
Greetings to the congregation was given by Dr I Pihoto Khala. Special message was given by Reverend Dr Joshua Rochill.
The concluding day on November 10 began with songs of praise and was followed by call to worship by Reverend Ghokuto Chishi, Pastor and Former Administrator ATC.
Giving respect to the Almighty God and all the guests, he talked about the inception of the College in 1994, and how in 1932 it first started as Bible School. ATC was officially opened and declared at Aghuyili during a conference in 1994 by the then SBAK staff, Reverend Chishi added.
A special song was presented by Aghovi's group. Greetings for the day was given by Er Picto Shohe, MLA 32 A/C Atoizu, who thanked God for the day and welcomed everyone to the celebration. He said that God never leave his people but always remains along with them. He shared a story about his mother, of how she struggled in her life to study. She studied at a night school and by God's grace she became a women leader and served God.
He also talked about the root of Christianity in the land of Sumis. Dr Clark was the first to start a night school to educate the people, which was the need of the hour.
Special songs were presented by Anna, ATC Alumni and Jubilee Choir. Jubilee blessing and message was given by Reverend Mulato Chishi Executive Secretary SBAK-Aizuto.
Giving thanks to God and all the guests, he talked about redefining the ‘upholding the truth.’ Reverend Chishi further said that as Christians, one “should always preach the holy word of God with full devotional mind,” If not, the time will come where rivals will start questioning God's people on the promises of the Lord, he added.
Vote of thanks was said by Dr Shitovi Sumi, current Principal ATC, who thanked God, all the guests, staff, officials, family members, faculty staffs and invitees for their contribution in making the celebration a success. He prayed that God will keep blessing the College for another year of celebration.
Closing prayer was said by Reverend Vitoshe Aye, Pastor Centre Baptist Church Aizuto. The jubilee celebration culminated with a grand jubilee feast.
