ATI conducts leadership & team building training

Kohima, October 28 (MExN): The Administrative Training Institute (ATI) Kohima conducted training on Leadership and Team Building from October 23 to 25 with an objective to equip academic Administrators develop a sense of leadership and the art of team building.  

A press release from Dr Hovithal Sothu, Course Coordinator, ATI stated that a total of 22 participants consisting of Headmasters/Headmistress, Assistant HM and Head Teachers from various Government Schools attended the programme. Resource persons were Dr Meciehol Savi, Education Coordinator NBCC; Petekhrienuo Rame, Coordinator, Peace Channel for Kohima District; Mongzueng Mpom and Adi from Kingdom Stewards Ministries, Jalukie and Dr Hovithal Sothu.  

The Topics taken up included Motivation, Listening, Personality Development, Time Management, Leadership, types of leadership, role of leaders in the society, team building etc with practical on team building. The participants were encouraged to carry forward the training in their respective Institutions so that the cascading programmes can be done in their respective areas. The training ended with exhortation by L.Youdang Jamir (Additional Director ATI) and distribution of participatory certificates to all the trainees.
