Tuensang, August 20 (MExN): ATMA Tuensang Sangsangyu block conducted demonstrations under PMKSY at Tuensang Village on August 16. At the programme, resource person ATM Achetba Longchar spoke on “micro pond water harvesting” for diversified use of the preserved water in various farming activities like crop, livestock and fish farming during post-rainy season. He demonstrated on the procedures and various techniques involved in the construction of the micro pond. ATM Dr Neilhovou Thao demonstrated on “Integrated Fish farming” stressing on fish cum poultry farming and showed them the preparation of deep litter system and slatted floor system. Altogether, 20 farmers attended the programme.
