ATMA Dimapur conduct demo on baking

Dimapur, May 13 (MExN): ATMA-Dimapur Kuhuboto Block conducted Demonstration on ‘Baking of Black Forest Cake’ held at Khughovi Village on May 10. Resource person for the programme was Atoni S.Holo, Rajpukhuri SHG. In order to help the Self Help Groups to develop and strengthen their economy and to skillfully boost their prolong sustenance, a demonstration on baking of cake was taught to the participants.   Atoni, firstly gave a brief introduction on the varieties of cake that can be made with once own choice of flavours. She further elaborated on the various ingredients to be used during the process of baking. She illustrated that the temperature should be at around 150 C for baking.

  She also emphasised on the clean surrounding of the area from where the baking should be baked because cleanliness is very important for a healthy and hygienic food. She also encouraged the participants to try baking because every stuff that we buy outside are expensive and making with our own handmade saves a lot of money comparing with the market value.   She concluded by showing a live step by step procedure on how to bake a cake through demonstration. The programme was chaired by Yimobendang, ATM (ATMA), Kuhuboto Block.
