ATMA Kohima farmers’ exposure tour within state

Kohima, October 27 (MExN): ATMA Kohima District organized within state farmers’ exposure tour to Dimapur and Wokha District on September 24 and October 10.

In Dimapur district, the team visited Poultry farm school at Seithekema, Noodles Production Unit of Seyie SHG at Tenyiphe-I Village and Areca Plate making at united village. The team witnessed the hard work of the group and farm school teacher, a press release from Deputy PD (ATMA), Kohima stated. 

On visit to Wokha District, the team visited local made wild fruit processing of Chenga SHG, local made passion fruit juice, grapes juice and jam, aloe vera and cucumber soap making of Yingaro SHG at Wokha village.

The team also visited the passion fruit farm school where the farm school teacher was a District and State Awardee who conducted trainings to 219 farmers till date.

The team also had training on gooseberry pickle making at KVK Wokha district where Thungchano, ACTO, gave a live demonstration on it.
