Medziphema, February 3 (MExN): Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Medziphema block conducted demonstration programme on February 2 at Pherima village.
Resource person Dr Ebibeni Ngullie, Assistant Chief Technical Officer, KVK (ICAR), Jharnapani dwelt on the topics ‘Handling of chicks during physical examination and medication along with different administration of drugs’ and ‘Handling of pigs during physical examination and medication’.
She elaborated on the importance of timely vaccination and demonstrated to the farmers the administration of vaccines for pigs and poultry, informed a press release.
Keneisano Krose, ATM, Medziphema block spoke on the topic ‘Application of Biofertilizer,’ where she explained on the types of biofertilizers, its benefits, methods of application, precautions, and the recommended dose.
Four days old chicks were distributed to the farmers during the programme, which was chaired by Chubanaro Jamir, BTM, Medziphema block.
