Peren | June 9 : The coordination meeting cum felicitation of Farmers Friend, ATMA Peren district was held at Town hall Peren on June 9. Speaking on the occasion as chief guest, the Deputy Commissioner of Peren, Khrienuo C Metha who was visibly irked by less attendance of farmers and some officers from the agri and allied sector, called upon the district farmers to attend ATMA meetings and be equipped with the agricultural technology and know-how from the specialized department. The DC, while welcoming the new Project Director ATMA, N. Yeheto Nartho, SDFO Jalukie, also expressed her appreciation to the promoted and outgoing Project Director ATMA, Alemla DFO Tuensang for her sincere effort in reviving the activities of ATMA in the district.
Felicitation of 21 Farmers friend of the district was led by the outgoing Project Director Alemla who gave away mobile handsets and SIM cards. The programme was chaired by R Santsu Kithan, SDAO & Dy. P.D, ATMA and the vote of thanks was addressed by Kumui Nring, Dy. Project Director, ATMA.
