Mokokchung, June 17 (MExN): ATMA Tuli block organised training, demonstration and inauguration of farm school on June 12 and 13 at Tuli town, Luyong and Aopenzu village respectively. Resource persons, Dr. Toshiwati, Farm Manager, State Pig Breeding Centre, Merangkong trained the farmers on piggery farming followed by castration of pig in Tuli on June 12.
Demonstration on preparations of Bordeaux mixture and hands on training on oyster mushroom was conducted by Imkipokyim, ATM and Shilunokdang, ATM Tuli respectively. On June 13, inauguration of ‘Rubber Farm School’ was held at Aopenzu village. C. Alemyanger, SDAO Tuli inaugurated the farm school and delivered the keynote address. The later part of the day had training on cultivation of soyabean.
