
Zunheboto, July 29 (MExN): ATMA Zunheboto organized Skill Training of Rural Youth (STRY) programme in association with SAMETI, Nagaland and MANAGE Hyderabad on the topic “Empowering youth through community vermicomposting” from July 22 to 27.
A press release issued by the Project Director & CVO Zunheboto stated that Dr Visakho (ACTO) Agronomy and Naro, Farm Manager KVK Lumami were the resource person for the programme. Dr Rakesh Kumar Senior Scientist and Head KVK Lumami stated that organic take up of such vermicomposting can employ youths .He also encouraged Zunheboto district and the State as a whole, in following the footsteps of the State Sikkim, the release added.
A total of 15 participants from different villages participated in the 6 days STRY programme. The Valedictory programme was chaired by BTM Chubatsur and vote of thanks was delivered by Kaiho Achumi ATM.
