ZUNHEBOTO, NOVEMBER 22 (MExN): The Ato Area under the aegis of Ato Area Sports Association (AASA) under Western Sumi Sports Association (WSSA) kicked off its 37th GB's Trophy on November 20 at Khehoyi village with Mughavi N Zhimomi, operational manager Auto Carrier, New Delhi as a special guest.
Ato Area Sports Association (AASA) media cell in a press release informed that Zhimomi, while addressing the event, encouraged the young players that to be good sportsmen one must not indulge in alcohol and drugs and to earn a name one must write its own story. He also encouraged the GB's to live an exemplary life.
Other highlight of the programme include exhortation by Mughato Aye, VP Nagaland Football Association (NFA) .In his speech, he encouraged the young players that in order to excel high, one must be a step ahead of others.
Also speaking at the programme, Vikuto Zhimomi, President, Western Sumi Sports Association (WSSA) encouraged the players to work hard and also appealed the parents to support their children in the field of sports. The programme was chaired by Kheholi Sumi, children pastor Nikhekhu and Avika Awomi, youth pastor Toshiho. The trophy is being held under the theme, "Unity through Sports."
