Atoizu, February 16 (MExN): The Atoizu Town Council (ATC) conducted a Sanitation Awareness Programme at Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu (KPA) and Asukhuto on February 12.
The event was chaired by ATC Councillor Alokali and began with an invocation by Toto, pastor of the Prayer Centre at KPA. In a keynote address, officials stressed community participation in upholding sanitation standards.
ATC Chairperson Kitoli Naje, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Atoizu Nukutulu S Venuh, and ATC Deputy Chairman Ivuka Z Katty addressed the gathering, highlighting the health hazards of poor sanitation and urging responsible waste disposal.
The programme concluded with a benediction by Anato, pastor of Asukhuto Baptist Church.
Community leaders, church representatives, educators, student bodies, health workers, and citizens participated in the event.
