Dimapur, November 27 (MExN): One-day seminar on ‘awareness and education programme on positivity’ was organised by Altrura Society (AuS) in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra Dimapur (NYKD), Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, GoI at Hebron Higher Secondary School (HHSS), Sovima Dimapur on November 23.
Speaking at the programme as chief speaker, Medolhoulie Angami, Vice Principal HHSS spoke about the positive mindset in nation building, citing an example of Alfred Noble a Swedish inventor known for inventing dynamite whose premature obituary condemning him as a ‘merchant of death’ may have caused him to create the Noble Prize.
He urged the youth to live their life to the fullest in promoting positivity and unity in their day to day life for the sake of humanity in order to create a constructive and positive society.
Earlier, delivering the keynote address, Visakuolie Medom President, AuS highlighted that the society was a registered NGO working for public welfare through voluntary services has been conducting various social and capacity building training/seminars/sports in the past years. He deliberated upon the aims and objectives of the seminar.
Meanwhile, vote of thanks was delivered by Information & Publicity Secretary, AuS, Neivikho Savi. Altogether 97 participants including students, teachers and members of the Society attended the programme.
