In what can be termed as a milestone for the state, locally-based business Jamir Engineering in partnership with automobile giant Ashok Leyland recently opened the Genset authorized sales and service center located next to West Police Station, Dimapur.
Graced by Sushil Kumar, the Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur and Umesh Ravindra More, the Regional Head-East, Ashok Leyland Ltd. as the special invitees, the launch was further bolstered by the presence of friends, family and well-wishers alike.
Chaired by Pangla Phom, Front Office Manager of the outlet, the invocation prayer was offered by the Associate Pastor of Dimapur Ao Baptist Church. The proceedings included a short exhortation by the Deputy Commissioner who lauded, in particular Perong Jamir, the proprietor of Jamir Engineering for having the gumption and acuity to foray into this particular segment and making it significantly convenient for existing customers of Ashok Leyland Gensets so also potential customers to gain access to an invaluable product further augmented by after sales service which is almost unheard of in this part of the country pertaining to commodities like generators and power backups of this magnitude.
During his short speech as one of the special invites, Ravindra More cited how the motto of Ashok Leyland “Apki Jeet Hamari Jeet” works very well in tandem with Ashok Leyland’s primary objective of reaching out to the masses across every niche and providing a service that is etched on quality customer satisfaction. An informative product and service description was delivered by Reddy who is the Regional Service Engineer of Ashok Leyland preceded by a welcome address by the proprietor of Jamir Engineering.
In a freewheeling interaction with The Morung Express, Perong Jamir shared how his experience in the automobile sector motivated him to bring one of the best names in the business to Nagaland and create an avenue for the Naga people to experience the accessibility to quality power solutions topped with excellent customer service which is uncompromised and seamless. It was with this very ethos that Jamir connected with the brand that is Ashok Leyland in providing products that are top notch, affordable and low on fuel consumption in today’s economy of rising fuel prices. On being asked about their future plans, Suresh Gurung, the Sales Manager stated “Right now we are looking at cementing our position in Dimapur. A year’s analysis will determine whether it would be feasible to establish another outlet in Mokokchung district.”
It is worth mentioning that Jamir Enterprises have already been invited by Ashok Leyland to set up shop in Manipur apart from their newest venture in Dimapur.
