Autumn Golden Kick held

  Dimapur, November 25 (MExN): The Open Autumn Golden Kick organised by the Ao Students' Union Dimapur (ASUD) was held successfully at the DDSC stadium, Dimapur on Saturday.   Altogether, 73 teams competed in the penalty shootout tournament which was ultimately won by the Yajang Kaketshir Telongjem Dimapur. They walked away with a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.   The runner-up title – carrying an award of Rs. 30,000 – went to the Kangtsung Kaketshir Telongjem Dimapur. The two losing semi-finalists – Circle FC and Merangkong Kaketshir Telongjem Dimapur – walked away with cash prizes of Rs. 5,000 each (sponsored by Dental Touch).   The winner of the Golden Glove award for best goalkeeper went to Limanungsang (Longsa Unit) who received a cash prize of Rs. 5,000 along with a gift voucher worth Rs. 1,000 from Playmart Sports Store. In addition, Tali Jamir was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 1,000 for securing the highest number of likes on his Facebook post while the title of 'luckiest team' was won by VJ's Coaching Center. Surprise gift hamper worth Rs. 500 was also given to one lucky winner which was sponsored by Playmart Sports Store.   The highlight of the day included an exhibition match between the ASUD and a team captained by Miss Imlibenla Wati which included legislators and party representatives from NPF Party along with members of YNP and several notable players from the state. The day witnessed a series of activities including a variety of food and games stalls.
