Mhonshan Kinghen, son of the late Tsenhon Kinghen, who was a legitimate member of the Akuk village. The tragic incident took place on October 27, between the areas of Merapani and Bhandari.

In a joint statement, the council and the student union described the murder as a "merciless act" that has deeply disturbed the social fabric of their peaceful community. The bodies condemned such an "inhumane" act, emphasizing that such violence has no place in their society today. "This brutal killing has greatly shattered the sense of peace and security that our community has always upheld," the statement read.
