Tuensang, September 25 (MExN): An awareness camp for adolescent girls on health issue was held at DUDU Hall, Longkhim under Rashtriya Poshan Maah organised by ICDS Project, Longkhim on September 24.

Kikumsungla Jamir, ADC, Longkhim spoke about the Legal Marriage Act and highlighted its importance. 

During the programme, the resource persons spoke on various topics such as legal awareness, health awareness and spiritual health.

Dr Thanglila, speaking on the theme of the event stated that, “Unless you are matured enough, don’t plan for marriage. Maintain good health and live happily while keeping oneself away from any kind of unwanted activities which affects our mind and soul.”

Longri, Associate Pastor, LTBC sharing his thoughts on spiritual health exhorted that, “Our body is a temple of God, so as the Lord said be holy because I am holy. Be brave to fight the temptations by reading Bible and by praying.”

Earlier, the programme was chaired by Phungpila K. Sangtam, Supervisor, ICDS Project, Longkhim and keynote address was delivered by C. Tsalito CDPO, Longkhim. He gave a presentation on how to maintain good health during this COVID-19 pandemic.
