
MELURI, JANUARY 30 (MExN): A one-day awareness and onboarding camp on the PM Vishwakarma Scheme was held at the DB Court, Deputy Commissioner’s office in Meluri on January 30, aiming to educate artisans and local stakeholders about the initiative’s benefits.
Yithule Krichena, a representative from the State PMU for PM Vishwakarma, outlined the scheme’s objectives, which include formal recognition of artisans, skill development, toolkit incentives, credit support, digital empowerment, and enhanced market access.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Neilezo Tep, an officer of the Nagaland Civil Service, delivered the welcome address. The event was attended by village council chairpersons, members of civil society organizations, and officials from the state PMU.
