Awareness camp on Special Kisan Credit Card campaign in Jalukie

Jalukie, October 4 (MExN): To extend the benefits of the Kisan Credit Card (KCC) scheme to farmers engaged in animal husbandry, dairy, and fisheries, an awareness camp was organized at the District Fishery Office, Jalukie. 

The event, hosted by the Lead Bank Office, Peren, in collaboration with the Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services and the Department of Fisheries & Aquatic Resources, marked the launch of the nationwide ADHF KCC Campaign for 2024-25.

Chief Manager of Lead Bank, Temsurenla, and SBI Jalukie Branch Manager, Purwati Longkumer, served as resource persons for the programme. They provided insights into the Kisan Credit Card, explaining eligibility criteria, interest rates, and the various benefits of the scheme.

The interactive session saw 63 participants, who engaged with the resource persons to clarify their doubts regarding the scheme.

The programme commenced with a welcome address by District Fisheries Officer (DFO) Peren, C. Dory Yanthan, and concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Chief Veterinary Officer (CVO) Peren, Namsui Thou.
