Wokha, February 20 (DIPR): District Election Office, Wokha in collaboration with Wokha District ICON Dr. Abeny W. Khuvung organized a one day awareness programme on SVEEP campaign on Clean Election for ASHA and Angangwadi workers at CMO office, Wokha on February 20. District Icon addressing the gathering, urged the ASHA &Angangwadi workers to be the ambassadors of clean election and spread the messages to the rural areas. Around 90 ASHA and Angangwadi workers from Wokha and Chukitong Block attended the awareness campaign.
Peren: Poll personnel participate in postal ballot Postal Ballot for polling duty personnel for the district of Peren was held on February 19 and 20 at Town Hall, Peren. Polling duty personnel registered as voters in other districts and Government employees requisitioned for election duty as Sector Officer, Flying Squad Team members, Static Surveillance Team, Video Surveillance Team members, Expenditure Monitoring Team members, Block Level Officers for 6th Tening and 7th Peren Assembly Constituencies participated.
