Wokha COB 24 Assam Rifles conducted awareness lecture on health hygiene and sanitation at Santsuo School Wokha on May 17.

An awareness lecture on health hygiene and sanitation was held at Santsuo School, Wokha on May 17. The programme was organised by Wokha COB 24 Assam Rifles with a purpose to encouraged healthier school environment and educate students with essential knowledge and practices of maintaining personal and communal health hygiene.
The attended by 250 students and 17 teachers. The event aimed to educate and empower students with essential knowledge and practices to maintain personal and communal health.
Asst Comdt. Nant Kishor, Company Commander 24 Assam Rifles lectured on various critical topics related to Awareness Hygiene and Sanitation. He emphasized on the importance of regular handwashing, proper techniques for maintaining personal hygiene, effective sanitation practices to prevent the spread of diseases, the role of nutrition in overall health, waste management and its impact on the environment.
Phyochobeni Khuvung, Santsüo School Principal in her short speech thanked the Wokha COB 24 Assam Rifles for equipping the students with knowledge about hygiene and sanitation which is important for every individual.
Later, interactive Q&A session was held with the students and teachers to address their queries.
