PHEK, JUNE 12 (MExN): The District Mental Health Programme (DMHP) and National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP) of District Hospital Phek conducted an awareness programme at the Police Personnel Camp, organised by Police Baptist Church, 5th NAPBn, Phek.
The programme was heldunder the theme ‘The Great Invitation’ from June 7 to 12 at Khuza Town Baptist Church.
Neiwe-u Losou, Psychologist, NTCP, spoke on ‘Understanding Alcohol Use Disorders’ and ‘Ill effects of Tobacco on Health and Environment.’ Dr Ngopelo Keviechu, SMO spoke on ‘Overview of Substance Abuse’ and ‘Alcoholic Liver Disease-Cirrhosis of Liver.’
Kelhouletuo Keyho, Psychiatric Social worker (PSW) spoke about handling stress in the work place. Altogether 55 participants from different companies and the 5th NAP Battalion unit headquarter attended the programme.
