Chiephobozou, October 6 (MExN): A one-day awareness programme on mobile apps developed under NeGPA by the Department of Agriculture was held in SDAO Chiephobozou on October 5.
Addressing the farmers, L Hansing, Jt Director of Agriculture, highlighted that the primary objective is to keep the farming community in touch with the latest Agri technological developments.
The state Agriculture Department has developed three mobile apps viz. Agrilan, NagaFarm Doctor and Nagaland Local Plants.
The Jt Director also stressed that these apps will simultaneously provide a common platform for interaction between department officials and agricultural subject matter specialist with the farming community.
He encouraged the villagers to make use of these facilities for enhancing their farming systems.
A short presentation and familiarization with the use of Agriculture mobile apps was conducted by Kitoho Michael Swu, Jr SMS.
The programme was chaired by Seyievonuo, SDAO Chiephobozou and vote of thanks was delivered by NeikietoTsükrü, AI.
