Tuensang, July 1 (MExN): A one day awareness programme on two years achievement of the Government was organized at C Khel Tuensang Village by the Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India on June 30.
Speaking on the occasion as resource person, Pradeep Sen Gupta, Postal Service, Nagaland Division, Government of India emphasized on Sukanya Smirdhi Yojana or Account and other insurance schemes. Somba, resource person from the Medical Department stressed on the importance of immunization. Thokchom Anthony, Unit in Charge, DFP Tuensang explained the need of financial inclusion of every citizen of the country and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (G). Tocshi Chang, Chairman, Village Council, was the chief guest.
A public rally was organized in connection with the awareness programme. Quiz contest and slogan writing competition was also organized and prizes distributed. Pelong Chingmak Chang won the first prize of the quiz competition. Talon and Asek were the prize winners of the competitions. A photo exhibition was also held at the venue.
