Tuensang, September 24 (MExN): The SAKHI OSC Tuensang organized an awareness campaign exclusively for NGOs of Tuensang District on September 19 at CKS Hall Tuensang.
The campaign was attended by four apex bodies and their representatives namely Chang, Khiamniungan, Sangtam and Yimchunger communities and also CTS, CCSU, Town Unions of respective communities including all ward unions. DC Tuensang, Mohammad Ali Shihab asked all to be keen on cases of crimes against women. He advised on dissemination of information to all corners so that everyone can avail services if need arises. Chulongla, Coordinator OSC SAKHI spoke on awareness on the OSC SAKHI and Herola, Case Worker talked about women’s rights. Shongmou, Women Welfare Officer MSK also highlighted on the schemes for women while Kevithito Rose, EAC, Tuensang Sadar welcomed all the members to the programme.
