Awareness prog on ‘Plastic-Free Zone’ in Tuensang

Kohima, October 20 (MExN): Tuensang District Legal Services Authority (TDLSA) Para-Legal Volunteer (PLV) B Yemlong Chaba conducted an awareness programme on the topic ‘Plastic-Free Zone’ with New Reserved Fellowship leaders Tuensang and New Reserved Police Control Union Tuensang on October 16 last. Chaba explained on the topic and its effects on environment including livestocks and livelihood. He also highlighted Protections and Preventions Acts on Wildlife, Air, Water and Forest (Conservation) Act. Through this programme, the leaders of the colony agreed to maintain proper sanitary system.
