Phek, September 11 (MExN): An Awareness Session on the Importance of Health and Nutrition, POCSO ACT, Child Helpline 1098 was conducted at Royal Foundation School, Phek on September 10as part of the ongoing 10- Days Special Awareness Campaign under SANKALP - HEW on women centric themes.
Dr Pfukrolo Koza Senior Dental Surgeon, District Nodal Officer, NOHP & NTCP Phek gave a wide range of concern on the importance of Health and Nutrition Focussing on the issue of Anaemia for Adolescents.
Ratolu Khusoh, Case Worker Sakhi-OSC gave an awareness on Prevention of Early Child Marriage under POCSO ACT.
Hutolu Kezo Counselor, Child Helpline 1098, Phek gave information about Child Helpline -1098.
The program was organised by District Administration and SANKALP-District Hub for Empowerment of Women Mission Shakti, Phek in collaboration with Health and Family Welfare, Sakhi- OSC and Child Helpline 1098 Phek.
Altogether, 300 Adolescent boys and girls attended the programme.
Earlier, welcome address was delivered by Tsuvelu Hoshi, Assistant Headmistress, Royal Foundation School.
The programme was chaired by Vilenuo K. Thisa DMC, DHEW Mission Shakti Phek.
