Peren, October 20 (MExN): Peren District Administration in collaboration with the MSK and Childline 1098 Peren organized awareness programme on Women Centric Schemes and Child Services on October 17 at Women Welfare Organization Conference Hall, Jalukie Town.
It was held to promote women to come to the frontline for better society and to make them aware about various schemes of the government.
Childline 1098 Counsellor, Ganchuimei Gonmei highlighted the participants about its functions. She also spoke on the emergency helpline no 1098 which is to protect children between the age group of 0-10 years and to provide medical assistance.
District Coordinator, MSK Peren also spoke on the MSK, BBBP and OSC schemes which are introduced to empower women and to provide services affected by violence under one roof. She further stressed on the various existing government schemes and programmes which are made available for rural women and also gave them knowledge about the rights of women. Later, discussion hour was also held where doubts and queries were raised and clarified.
