DIMAPUR, APRIL 7 (MExN): The Angami Women Organization (AWO) has lauded the Nagaland Police for arresting the alleged drug kingpin Baharudin and his associates in their recent operations.
“Drug menace and its widespread availability is a major concern which directly affects the family and the society at large. It is a fact that today many families are badly affected by the menace of drug and other intoxicants,” the AWO stated in a press release.
It therefore appreciated the proactive initiatives and subsequent achievements of the rank and file of Nagaland police in cracking down on persons dealing with and possessing illegal narcotic and psychotropic substances, IMFL and arms and ammunitions under the committed leadership of Nagaland DGP Rupin Sharma.
In the fight towards an illegal drug free society, wherein intensive operations are still going on, the AWO assured full support to the government agencies and requested the general public to cooperate and assist the law enforcing authorities so as to create a brighter future for our children.
