Kohima, March 16 (MExN): In reference to the disbursement of the backlog destitute fund 2019-20 for beneficiaries under the scheme ‘Assistance to Destitute Women’, Department of Women Resource Development, the Angami Women Organization (AWO), President, Neilhuzono Nagi has informed that for those who are yet to avail the assistance, another chance is being given to do so from AWO Ki at D-Block.
AWO press release has informed all beneficiaries to submit xerox copies of the first page of their bank passbooks with their Aadhaar cards latest by March 20 for onward submission to the concerned department as it is a prerequisite for the grant of further assistance.
It also informed the beneficiaries to bring their documents-Bank passbook, Aadhaar card, and destitute card and collect funds on March 20, 21 and 23 between 11: 00 am to 3:00 pm.
It may be reminded that for those beneficiaries with accounts in SBI and NStCB, funds have already been credited to their respective accounts directly from the concerned department.
