Kohima, July 7 (MExN): The Angami Youth Organization (AYO) today complimented the different committees, organizations, bodies, and colonies based at Kohima who have been undertaking various sanitizing activities, cleanliness and environment drive.
AYO appealed to all communities or groups particularly the Angamis people based at Kohima to come forward in initiating more of such works in the interest of all.
On the ongoing renovation/beautification work carried out at the four walk over bridge in Kohima, AYO is constrained to make a cautioned note to the town dwellers not to deface/damage the beautification works.
“It is brought to the knowledge of the Organization that some miscreants have been carrying out unruly activities at the renovation sites,” it stated and directed the colony youth to be vigilant and catch the culprits.
AYO further warned that anyone caught defacing or destroying the beautification projects in and around Kohima town will be flogged in public.
