The Angami Youth Organization (AYO) today praised Neiketoulie Belho of Kohima district for being adjudged as the "Best Male Athlete" at the ongoing North East Olympic Games 2022 at Shillong.
AYO lauded the stupendous achievement of Belho, who won 3 Gold medals in Long Jump, 100mtrs and 4X100mtr relay.
“This is a rare achievement by a Naga athlete. And therefore, the AYO lauds the dedication and commitment of Neiketoulie Belho, who have brought laurels to the state through his achievements,” said AYO president Kekhrie Pfukha.
Extending best wishes, AYO was optimistic that Belho would continue to reach greater heights and continue to inspire many more sportspersons in the days to come.
AYO also congratulated the other Naga athletes who have won medals in their respective sports disciplines.
It also congratulated the entire contingent and management of the Nagaland Olympics Association and the various Sports Associations for leading from the front and for performing exceedingly well at the North East Olympics Games 2022.
