The Angami Youth Organisation (AYO) has undertaken taxi verification drive from today at AYO office in Kohima.
Talking to The Morung Express, AYO president Kesosul Christopher Ltu said that 245 documents have been verified today and the same exercise will continue.
He informed that All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) HQ Kohima will also be assisting AYO in the conduct of the verification drive.
AYO met ANTA this afternoon for certain issues in connection with this verification drive.
Earlier, AYO stated that this exercise is for the benefit of all stakeholders and urged all taxis operating in Kohima to participate for better transparency and regulation.
The required documents for verification include the owners, Aadhaar card and vehicle documents; Driver's Aadhaar card, driving license, and ANTA ID card.
