AYO visits landslide area at Viswema village

Kohima, July 23 (MExN): The Angami Youth Organization (AYO) on Sunday visited the landslide affected area at Viswema village.

While acknowledging the enormous effort given by the villagers and the neighbouring villages, the AYO stated that the travellers themselves noted with high regard the efforts of villagers in guiding and helping the travellers across the border near the landslide area.

It also thanked SDO Jakhama, the police and SAYO, Viswema village and their youth, neighbouring villages of Viswema for sharing responsibility in helping travellers in the tune of thousands of people every day.

“We understand the dynamics of Viswema landslide is slightly different from that of Kiruphema which is under the four lane project. And in that equation, we shall henceforth bring out certain appeal and even demands to both the concerned department, the government and the company undertaking the four lane highway,” a press release issued by AYO President Neinguvoto Krose and General Secretary Kekhrie Pfiikha stated.
