MLA Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu on Friday inaugurated the office of the Phek District Veteran Football Association (PDVFA) in the premises of the PTC office.
PDVFA will be hosting the Nagaland veteran football tournament at Phek town in the early part of 2017. Speaking on the occasion, Azo said that the opening of the PDVFA will go a long way in bringing the officials closer and also act as communication centre for the Association. He also called upon the citizens of Phek to extend support and cooperation for the success of the forthcoming Nagaland Veteran Football Tournament at Phek.
Meanwhile, all the members of the PDVFA have been informed that the final selection of players (Phek district) for the tournament will take place on November 8 at Phek town at 1:30 pm.
