Bad roads in Dimapur: WSSU serves 10-day ultimatum to CM

Dimapur, June 17 (MExN): Drawing the attention of Nagaland Chief Minister to the deplorable conditions of roads around Dimapur, particularly the stretches from Nagaland Gate to Chumukedima (NH-29), the Western Sumi Students’ Union today served a 10-day to Chief Minister demanding his personal intervention in the matter. Stating that it will spearhead the demand for “pliable road” on behalf of the students and commuters, the Union, in a press note issued by its President Nito Achumi and General Secretary Angukato Yeptho, requested the Chief Minister to do the needful “within 10 days” on the genuine matter for the welfare of the people.  “If no action is taken, we will have no other option but to proceed with future course of action till our legitimate demands are made,” it added.
