Adding more vibrancy to the culinary landscape of Mokokchung town, as ascribed by Mokokchung Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Soundararajan, the Naga restaurant chain Bambusa Express was made open to customers here on July 18. This is the 7th Bambusa Express outlet and the first to be franchised out, which was inaugurated by the Mokokchung Deputy Commissioner and consecrated by Rev. Ponen Longchar, Pastor of Mokokchung Town Baptist Church.
Bambusa Express was launched in 2013 by Medo Putsure which has slowly grown to be a vibrant chain of restaurants established in Dimapur and Kohima and now opening in Mokokchung. Medo Putsure, who was also present here today, said that with over 80 staff members, Bambusa Express believes in developing, nurturing and guiding young minds whilst expanding within the food sector. “We believe in providing excellent food and services to our customers and in providing them an awesome experience every time they come and visit us,” he added.
The franchisee of the Bambusa Express in Mokokchung, siblings Aienla Jamir and Anangla Jamir, will be managing and running the franchise outlet opened today, located at Arkong Ward. “Bambusa brings to town its range of combo meals and wide variety of delicious momos,” said Medo Putsure, while highlighting services offered. Their “Monster platter” allows family and friends to sit and enjoy a meal together while the “kids’ meal” spreads happiness in kids by giving out a free toy for each buy. Medo Putsure also added that they are introducing Momo Burger and BBQ noodles.
There are two Bambusa outlets in Dimapur and four in Kohima. “We are happy to be here,” said Medo Putsure after opening the latest chain restaurant outlet in Mokokchung, located in the visibly high footfall area of IM Road, Arkong Ward.
