Kohima, November 16 (DIPR): On account of recent outbreak of avian influenza in the Bhamondanga Part-I village blovk, Agomoni in Dhubri district of Assam, the State government has decided to impose ban on import of poultry and its products from the infected areas to the State of Nagaland with immediate effect as preventive measures till further notice. Therefore all concerned departments have been requested to strictly comply with the government directives. This was notified by Secretary, Vety. & Animal Husbandry, B. Thawang Konyak IAS.
