Kohima, November 1 (MExN): The Ruzazhomi Students’ Union (RSU) under Phek district in its meeting held on October 20 last has resolved to ban on sale of property within its jurisdiction. “The union has decided to ban on all the Ruzazhomi lands and properties like lands, cultivating lands, forest lands and also ban on exchange of lands or barter system or presenting as gift to non-local people within the jurisdiction of Ruzazhomi area,” the union president Sato Veswuh and general secretary Khruvosa Khusoh said in a note. Anyone found violating the resolution, would force the union to seize and declare the same as Ruzazhomi’s public property, the note added. The union also preinformed to all non-locals (non Ruzazhomi) or neighboring villagers not to take any risk, “as the union will not take any responsibility or entertain any negotiation.” The resolution will come to effect from the date of this publication.
