BAN organizes seminar for businessmen

Dimapur, February 7 (MExN): Various business people from Dimapur today attended the “COMPASS” seminar conducted by Business Association of Nagas (BAN) at Hope Centre for Excellence, Full Nagarjan here. According to a press release issued by BAN information & publicity secretary, BAN’s goal is to provide content for Naga businessmen to help them develop new strategies that innovate, motivate and energize themselves, as well as those around them. Compass program is designed to help equip followers of Christ to faithfully apply Biblical financial principles in every area of their lives, it added.

T.A.P. Paul, Manager (RSME) SBI Dimapur branch, the special guest,  spoke about how important it was for businessmen to have good banking relations and be aware of the various facilities and schemes provided by the bank.

Rev Johnson Samuel, the resource person for the compass program highlighted the need for Christian businessmen to do business in ethical and Christian way, without which one would not find contentment in life. He also highlighted some simple methods on how to maintain and keep track of one’s finances.  

The seminar started with opening prayer by Temjen Jamir, editor, Tir Yim Yim, followed by the introduction and welcome address by Zubeno Mozhui, managing director, Hope Centre for Excellence and also member advisor of BAN. It concluded with vote of thanks from Mar Longkumer, information and publicity secretary (BAN).

Mar Longkumer in the release thanked Rev. Johnson Samuel for the very educative and lively Seminar and T.A.P. Paul for his support. He further thanked members of BAN who had donated towards the seminar, Christian Business Mentors Council (CBMC), and Zubeno Mozhui and her staff for the venue and hospitality.
