Bank of Baroda wins five honours at IBA Banking Technology Awards

Mumbai, January 13 (MExN): Public sector lender Bank of Baroda said it has been recognised for its leadership in technology and innovation at the Indian Banks’ Association’s (IBA) 21st Annual Banking Technology Awards 2024-25.

The bank secured wins in four award categories among large banks and received a special mention in one.

It was adjudged the winner in the categories of ‘Best AI & ML Adoption’, ‘Best Fintech & DPI Adoption’, ‘Best IT Risk Management’, and ‘Best Tech Talent’. It also received a ‘Special Mention’ in the ‘Best Technology Bank’ category.

Speaking on the achievement, Bank of Baroda’s Managing Director & CEO, Dr Debadatta Chand, said, “Bank of Baroda is honoured to receive these coveted awards from the IBA, which reflect our continued focus on innovation, robust risk management, and building a strong tech team.”

He added that the bank will continue investing in advanced future-ready capabilities to deliver a seamless and secure banking experience for our customers and create lasting stakeholder value.
